Home Decor: My Bedroom

So I have been renovating my room and redesigning it for a while. I had my walls painted lavender for quiet a while I was just getting tired of the wall colour and wanted to give my room a new look. So I repainted my room a more of a darker lavender colour close to grey. I'm liking my wall colour allot.

The theme that I had in my head was a black and white theme so I went to target and picked up some pillows, cushions and sheets. I found the nicest set of sheets and cushions at target to go with what I wanted my room to look like.

I found this beautiful candle to put on my side table (It smells like heaven! The name of the scent is midnight orchid).  It gives off a really nice sweet smell I'm also loving how it goes with my lamp. I also bought some nice flowers to put on my side table (flowers just make me happy).

I love to be organized and I wanted nice things to organize my makeup and beauty products in and I found these nice cute boxes at the dollar store that I'm using to store my makeup in. They are looking really good on top of my dressing table.

I also found these 2 things at the dollar store and I'm thinking of getting a few more. I used the lipstick organizer holder thing (i really don't know what its actually called so bare with me lol) to put on top  of my dressing table to hold the lipsticks I use everyday. The little organizer basket I found is so convenient to store things like bobby pins (so I won't lose them), pencil sharpeners, wedged makeup sponges, and my eyelash curler.

So these are the few things I bought for my room. I'm still working on it and might post how my whole room looks after I'm all done with it.

Here is some more bedroom inspiration that I'm liking:

These are some things I found on the etsy website for room inspiration:

This is one of my favourite Audrey Hepburn quote: "For beautiful eyes look for the good in others; for beautiful lips speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."
