Eyebrows: Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil

So I finally purchased the Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil ($30.00 CND) in dark brown.  I like my eyebrows to look as natural as possible and don't really like to over fill them as much and this eyebrow product is just what I needed. This brow pencil actually makes your eyebrows appear natural instead of giving you that harsh look to your eyebrows.

With this brow pencil you can even make your eyebrows look more thicker if you want and it won't look obvious!  Overall it is a great product in my opinion.

Estee Lauder Double Wear vs Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1

Hello everyone! Its been a while since I talked about the current foundation I'm using so I decided to review these 2 foundations that I had for a while now. Since these both are suppose to be long wearing foundations I find them very comparable to each other.

Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation - Cost $12.00 CND (Colour 942 medium beige) :

The cover girl outlast 3 in 1 foundation is a drugstore foundation and is cheaper than the Estee lauder double wear foundation. I really do like the cover girl outlast 3 in 1 foundation. This foundation is suppose to have a lasting power of a primer, a coverage of a concealor and a blendibility of a foundation. To start off I'm going to say this foundation does have a really nice coverage for my skin   and it does last all day long! This is a really lightweight foundation and you won't notice that you have foundation on. When I applied this onto my skin it glided on smoothly and blended really well. It dries to a matte finish. I wore this foundation throughout the day and it lasted all day long even after a workout!

The part I didn't like about this foundation is that the colours seem to have a pink undertone instead of a golden yellow undertone so it didn't really match my skin perfectly.

Estee Lauder Double wear stay in place foundation - Cost $44.00 CND (Colour - 2W2 RATTAN) :

This is another foundation I really wanted to try out since all the beauty bloggers rave about it. This foundation is suppose to be a 15 hour stay in place foundation and is suppose to stay flawless in all conditions.

There are many things this foundation claims to guarantee such as:
  • won't change color
  • won't come off clothes
  • oil free and oil controlling
  • fragrance free
  • won't clog pores
  • light weight
  • medium to buildable coverage
  • dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested
In my opinion this is a really good foundation. The part I loved about this foundation is the colour selection. If you have a yellow undertone to your skin this line of foundation provides a wide variety of colours for you. I find this foundation to be a full coverage foundation. Just a tiny bit of foundation will go along way. As I applied this foundation on it set onto my face instantly and it dried to a matte finish.  This foundation is lightweight and you won't notice you have it on all day long!

In regards to the staying power I know that at the end of the day my T zone area gets pretty oily and I found that this foundation lasted all day long and it did stay semi-matte. This foundation looked great even after my workout! The part I didn't like about this foundation is the packaging it comes with no pump and I always end up pouring out more than I should!

If I had to choose between the two foundations I would pick the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation over the Covergirl 3 in 1 because I find that Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation comes in yellow undertones and the foundation matched my skin perfectly.  Despite the colours that are offered by these two brands  I found both of these foundations quiet similar to each other.

I hope you liked this post! Thanks for stopping by!
