On my face:
ELF studio matte lip colour in tea rose
ELF 3 in 1 mascara
ELF Precision Eyeliner (so difficult for me to apply it since the brush bristles stick out)
ELF Eyeshadow from their 100 eyeshadow palette
So I'm finally going to review all the ELF products I recently purchased a while back ago. ELF cosmetics is a company that sells its makeup for really cheap prices. Their makeup products and applicators cost around $1.00 - $15.00. You can find ELF products on their website. If you live in the United States you can find their products at Target I believe. I live in Canada and I never really saw any ELF cosmetics in our Target stores.
My overall rating for these products would be 7/10. I believe most of the products I've purchased are really good however there are some things about some products I didn't like.
This is the Elf Studio 3 in 1 mascara. This mascara is suppose to voluminize, lengthen, and define your eyelashes. To start off I'm going to say I LOVE the brush applicator that comes with this mascara. The brush makes it easy to apply your mascara on your eyelashes. I find that the brush separates and helps get the mascara right on my eyelashes and I found that the brush somehow also helps extend them. The brush applicator is also amazing for your bottom eyelashes as well.
This mascara also voluminze and defines your eyelashes. I find that this mascara takes longer to dry which makes it easier to put a couple of coats of mascara onto your eyelashes before it dries off. I find that if I put a few coats of this mascara onto my eyelashes it does give them the desired volume and depth I want. So far I'm loving this mascara and for the price of this mascara I believe its definitely worth a try.
I also purchased their ELF Studio Lotion wipes in coconut vanilla scent. These wipes are infused with Aloe vera, vitamin E, cocoa butter, soy, ginkgo biloba, coconut milk, and sweet almond oil. All the ingredients listed in this product are naturally suppose to be hydrating and nourishing. I find that these wipes are moisturizing and nourishing. Usually I like using these when I'm taking my makeup off and cleansing my face at the end of the day. I believe for the price of these wipes they are worth it
and I have no complaints.
This is the ELF 100 piece eyeshadow set. This set contains many different shades for creating dramatic looks, natural looks, creating natural or dramatic smokey eyes. I find the colours to be nicely pigmented. I'm liking this palette. If you are looking for a variety of nicely pigmented eyeshadow shades to wear this palette is for you. For the price of this palette is definitely worth a try. To make these eyeshadows last longer and appear more radiant try using a good eyeshadow primer for your eyelids before you apply these eyeshadows.
This is the ELF Studio matte lip colour. The colour that I purchased is in tea rose. This colour is a natural mauve colour you can wear everyday. I'm liking this colour and find it to be nicely pigmented, however, I find that it doesn't really last on my lips for that long. This lipstick has good pigment and there also a variety of other colours you can try out.
This is a swatch of the ELF studio Matte lip colour in tea rose.
This is the ELF Studio Glossy Gloss in 'salmon.' This is a really nice lip gloss. I like this lip gloss paired with the ELF Studio matte lipstick in 'tea rose.' It is also really nice by itself and I love how pigmented this lipgloss is. They also provide this lipsticks in other different colours that I would love to purchase. This lip gloss is moisturizing and isn't sticky at all.
This is the ELF Studio makeup mist & set spray. It is suppose to help set your makeup for the day. I love this set spray and its definitely worth a try. My makeup stays set throughout the day and doesn't wear off. I feel like this spray makes my makeup look better it just does that final touch. This is definitely worth a shot so you can see for yourself. When I purchased this set spray I looked up other reviews for this set spray and some were complaining about the smell. The one I received didn't really have any strong scent.
This is the ELF Studio Flawless Concealer Brush. For the price of this brush I find that the quality of the brush is really good from their studio line. The bristles are really soft and aren't hay like Personally, I find the brush bristles too large and fluffy to apply on my concealer. This brush does work well when you want to blend in your eyeshadow. The quality of the brush is really good but I personally feel like its not meant for applying on concealer.
This is the ELF Studio baked bronzer in St. Lucia. I don't like this bronzer. This bronzer doesn't have enough pigment in it to show up on my face and it has shimmer to it which I'm not liking. This bronzer comes in other different shades as well that you can try out if you want. I won't purchase this bronzer again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
This is the ELF Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner. I like the eyeliner, however, I'm not liking the brush that came with the eyeliner. The brush bristles stick out and the brush isn't that thin so it makes it difficult to get that straight eyeliner line you want.
This is the ELF Makeup Lock & Seal. The purpose of this product is to lock and seal your eyeshadow and lipstick. I don't find that this does lock in my lipstick or eyeshadow.
These are the two false eyelash kits I purchased. The ELF Studio VIP eyelash Kit comes with clear eyelash glue, 2 false eyelashes, lash applicator clip, and an eyelash stand. The other eyelash kit I bought was the ELF Natural Eyelash Kit and comes with only the glue. I actually like the eyelashes in this kit I find that theVIP false eyelashes give your lashes a really dramatic look and its not for me. I don't like the glue that comes with both of these false eyelash kits at all. The eyelashes won't stick to my lids even for a second. If you want these eyelashes you can purchase them but you will have to purchase a different eyelash glue to make these eyelashes stick to your eyelids.
This is a white eyeliner I purchased from ELF. Its called the ELF Eye Widner Pencil. I purchased this pencil to wear on my on my bottom water line. I find its not that pigmented and doesn't really go on my water line that easily.
This is the ELF Eyelash Curler I purchased. I like this eyelash curler, it gives my eyelashes a long lasting curl.
These are normal blending sponges you can purchase anywhere from target or any other drug stores in your area. These blending wedges are used to pat on your concealer or foundation onto your face. If you drag it around your face it will give you a streaky look and it is difficult to blend your makeup onto your face with these blending wedges if you do that. If you try applying foundation with these it actually soaks up all your foundation instead of helping it blend onto your skin. I don't really use these all the time just at times when I feel like my concealer needs a little touch up.
This is the ELF Waterproof Eyeliner Pen. When I first tried to apply this onto my eyelids the eyeliner didn't work. I won't be purchasing this product again...
And lastly, This is the ELF Hyper Shine Lipgloss. I don't really like this lipgloss I find that this lip gloss dries out my lips and it is a little sticky.
And that's the review for all of the ELF products I purchased recently. I found that some of their products are really good and some aren't. These products are good to experiment with because they aren't that expensive.
